Whether natural or artificial, the ability to discern light quality is fundamental to cinematography. Instantly judging direction, intensity, color temperature, and diffusion — and creating optimal imagery from these elements — is where a cinematographer's skill truly shows.
映像は言葉を超えた表現手段です。台詞では伝えきれない感情——不安、希望、孤独、解放——を光と影、構図、カメラワークで表現することに、常に挑戦しています。
Visual imagery is a means of expression beyond words. I constantly challenge myself to express emotions that dialogue cannot fully convey — anxiety, hope, loneliness, liberation — through light and shadow, composition, and camera movement.
最新の機材やポストプロダクション技術を学び続けることは重要ですが、最終的に映像の質を決めるのはシネマトグラファーの感性です。技術は手段であり、目的は常に「物語を語ること」です。
While continuously learning the latest equipment and post-production techniques is important, ultimately it's the cinematographer's sensibility that determines image quality. Technology is the means; the purpose is always "telling the story."
